Getting started with Wildlet Launch
Requires macOS 26 or later. Open the app to scan standard application locations. Use the top selection button to select apps, create categories, groups or cards, and move apps together. Click a group to open it above your page; click outside to return. Cards keep their apps directly available.
Where are my applications stored?
Organizing creates references to installed applications; it does not copy, move or modify their app bundles. Settings → Scan apps in other locations lets you authorize an additional folder. Keep apps in their original locations. If an app is moved or removed, scan again.
Trial, lifetime access and restoring purchases
In Settings → Trial & Purchase, explicitly start the free seven-day trial or purchase Lifetime Access once for US$6.99 (local pricing applies). The trial begins at its first verified Apple transaction, never renews and never charges automatically. After expiry, your existing layout and free launching features continue to work; organization editing, import and history restoration require lifetime access. Restore Purchases with the original Apple Account. Restoring an expired trial does not restart it. Nature Companion purchases do not unlock Launch.
Layout backups and moving to another Mac
Export your layout before making major changes. Layout import and restoration of local history require an active trial or lifetime access. An exported layout contains application references, not the applications themselves; install those applications separately on another Mac.

Invite your first companion
Wildlet requires macOS 14 or later. Start your seven-day trial or unlock lifetime access, choose Animal companions, select a companion and a count from 1 to 15, then release them. Closing settings keeps your desktop running. Click the Wildlet Dock icon or use the menu bar to reopen settings.
Add petals and leaves
In Petals & leaves, choose Cherry blossom, Maple or Ginkgo, then select Bring petals & leaves to desktop. Your animals stay alongside the plants. Choose pink or white blossoms, place branches on the left, right or top, and adjust wind and falling quantity. Hide the branches to keep petals or leaves only.

One free seven-day trial covers all animals and plant scenes. The trial is a non-consumable in-app purchase, beginning at the first verified App Store transaction date. It never renews or charges automatically. One lifetime purchase includes both types of content; plants need no separate purchase. After expiry, desktop effects pause while previews and settings remain available.
Restore purchases
Sign in to the App Store with the Apple Account used for your purchase. Choose Restore purchases in Wildlet. Restoring an expired trial does not restart the seven days.
Pause, hide or quit
The shared pause and eye buttons pause or hide both animals and plants. Recall all removes both from the desktop; Recall plants only removes the plants. Quit from the Wildlet menu or the Dock to close the app and its desktop effects. Mouse clicks pass through the effects so you can keep working.
Optional screen recognition
Cross freely is the default and does not analyze the screen. Go around and Fly over can analyze screen content locally after you choose to enable recognition and grant Screen Recording access. Revoke permission or return to Cross freely to stop.
